Air conditioning repair
If you have an air conditioning system in your house, then you surely know that there are a lot of problems that can occur. That's why in this article we will find out more about those problems and ways you can fix them.
But first, let's find out more about the air conditioning systems. Among other components, such a system has a condensing unit, located outside the home. The condensing unit contains the air conditioning condenser coils, the compresor and the condenser fan motor.
The evaporator coils are located inside the home and are mounted on top of a furnace. The furnace uses a circulation blower fan to draw air trough the return vent, blow it pass the evaporator coils and force the air to the home venting.
The room air is then drawn back trough the return and the air flow cycle continues. Once the room air has cooled sufficiently, the wall thermostat signals the circulation blower fan and condensing unit to turn off until the room temperature increases.
It's important to keep the condensor clean. If leaves or dirt block the coils, the heat will not be disipated effectively and the system will not function efficiently. You can use a garden hose to clean the condensor by spraying the coils from the inside out.
The most important factor in efficient operation is air flow. To ensure proper air flow the air filter should be checked monthly and replaced when needed. This way you make sure that you don't need too much air conditioning repair.
Those are just a few problems that can occur if you have an air conditioning system. If you get into trouble and you think you can't handle it, the best thing to do is to call a specialized service to come and determine the problem and of course, fix it.
